Last week the mailman was definitely my friend. He brought me several parcels of happiness, especially for me. I was SO excited to see these new fabrics...
The first gorgeous bundle was the very first fabric release by my wonderful distributors, Creative Abundance and designed by the super talented Melanie Hurlston. This range is called 'Where the Wind Blows' and is already making it's way to fabric stores in Australia and New Zealand. I was SO excited to have a play that I spent Friday stitching a brand new design with these fabrics. Let me tell you, they are SO beautiful to stitch with, the quality is amazing and they are really fun colours to use too.

Melly is having a giveaway for a fat quarter bundle of these gorgeous fabrics, so if you would like to win some for yourself to have a play with, pop on over to Melly's blog to enter.
Here is a little sneak peek of the new pattern I have stitched using these fabrics. I have written the pattern, so just need to have it proofed and take the pattern photo. Hopefully I can reveal it in a day or so. I can't WAIT cause I am SO excited, I just love it.
And the second delicious bundle of fabrics was so generously shared with my by the ever talented Rosalie Quinlan. Her divine new range is in all of my favourite colours, and I was SO very thrilled and excited that she was able to share some 'Sweet Broderie' with me as well. I can't WAIT to begin stitching with it, but for now I am content just to look at these delicious fabrics and continue my planning. They are almost too nice to cut up!

This new range is due to hit the stores around October and I know that Sarah from Quilt Fabric Delights has ordered the WHOLE range, so keep an eye out in her store.
Those of you who follow me on facebook or twitter will have read that I spent some time out in the sun yesterday morning, sketching and planning. I can tell you that I am beginning work on my next BIG project and I am using 'Sweet Broderie' as one of the main ranges in my BIG project. I can't WAIT to share more with you, but not quite yet. Soon, I promise. Off to the studio (well part of a room actually) to do some 'for fun' stitching... x Janelle
