As 9 pm arrived last night, so did the close of the three auctions I had running to raise money for the flood effected Queeslanders. To say that I am thrilled is an understatement. Together we raised $510 to go toward the Premier's Flood Appeal.

A HUGE thank you to each and every one of you who visited my blog and who bid on my auctions as well. Without you we wouldn't have reached this great total. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

So the set of 'Little Bluebirds' patterns SOLD for $100 - A BIG thank you to Mary...

My handmade 'Millie's Market Day' bag as well as three new release bag patterns SOLD for $200 - Thank you SO much Amanda...

And finally, the signed copy of my book 'Pieces of Me' as well as a custom made iphone pouch SOLD for $210 - with HUGE thanks going to Haylee...

I am so very proud to have played a tiny part in helping the people of Queensland rebuild their lives. Flood Appeal Auction Update...

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has bid on my auctions, I am thrilled with how much money we are raising, thank you. Just a special note that we have decided to end the auctions at 9pm  on the 24th instead of midnight, that way no one has to wait up late to place their final bids. Here is where we are up to with the bids so far...

Queensland Flood Appeal - Auction #3

Auction #3 is for a signed copy of my book, 'Pieces of Me'. So if you have been secretly wishing you owned my book, then this auction is for you. My book is filled with 16 inspirational designs with an additional 2 bonus projects as well. I am sure you will have many hours of stitching pleasure by owning my book.

Also included in this auction is one of my iphone pouches made using one of the patterns in my book. The winning bidder will be asked to tell me some of their favourite colours or fabric choices and I will make them an iphone pouch especially for them. Here is an example of some of my iphone pouches.

How this auction works:
1.  Bidding will start at $50 (Australian which is less than RRP). 
2.  You can place a bid by leaving a comment on this blog post with your bid amount and email address.  Please make sure that your bid is higher than the previous bidder.  
3.  Your bid must be in whole dollar increments.
4.  This auction is open to everyone, however exact postage costs will be calculated and half will be charged for International addresses (I will pay half).  Postage is FREE for Australian residents. 
5.  The auction begins NOW and will END at midnight on Monday 24th January 2011.
6.  At the close of the auction, I will contact the winner (please make sure your bid comment includes your email address).  The winner will pay the winning amount directly into the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal and send me proof of payment via email.  Once proof of payment has been received, I will post your book and iphone pouch to you.

Queensland Flood Appeal - Auction #2 AUCTION NOW CLOSED

For Auction #2, I am auctioning an original sample of my 'Millie's Market Day' bag. This bag has been hand made by me, including needle turn applique on the side panel. I have used bright, fun and happy colours, for a modern feel too.

This is an original bag in that I have only ever made the one version in this colourway.

This original bag measures 18 inches (46 cm) wide x 12 inches (31 cm) high, so a great size to fit lots of goodies.

ALSO tucked inside this bag will be three of my latest release bag patterns - 'Somewhere over the Rainbow', 'Tree Top Tote' and 'Frill Seeker'. So not only will you be bidding on a handmade bag by me, but also three patterns to make your very own bags as well.

Queensland Flood Appeal - Auction #1 AUCTION NOW CLOSED

To help raise money for the flood effected Queenslanders, I am running THREE Auctions here on my blog. I hope that this little contribution can help rebuild the lives and homes for some of those who have lost so much.
