It totally blows me away that we have so many talented designers here in Australia. I love that we can take simple pieces of fabric and turn them into something special, and something that we can share with our loved ones too.

One of these super talented designers is Jodie Carleton of Ric Rac. When Jodie isn't busy at her regular job she can be found happily making toys in her sewing room or writing patterns. She is obsessed with foxes, Pinocchio, Red Riding Hood and mechanical toys - actually pretty much any toys.

For my Mega Birthday 40 Giveaways, Jodie has very generously donated one of her handmade toys to giveaway. Jodie has made the most GORGEOUS handmade Elephant, made from pure wool with a fully lined wool dress as well.
