Inspiration Sunday...

Here are just a few things that are inspiring me this week...

I stumbled across this photo on-line this week and was instantly drawn to it. I love the light, it's decor, the floors, everything. It made me want to step through the computer screen, pull up a stool at the kitchen counter and share a cuppa with the owner - just soak up this beautiful home.

I soon discovered that this photo comes from a gorgeous blog called Meadowbrook Farm. I instantly felt like this is something I was MEANT to see. You see, lately I have been really struggling with my old home, it's lack of storage, leaky roof and lack of space. Upon looking through Meadowbrook Farm blog, I quickly saw some before and after photos that filled me with hope. I am heading back to read more and soak it all in. This blog has filled me with hope that we can turn our little old home into something that makes my heart sing.

While on the theme of homes and renovating, THIS girls room is totally inspiring me. I would love to make a teenage room for my girl, just like this. I LOVE it.

We are also on the lookout for a new couch for our home. Sadly our beautiful red leather couches did not stand the test of time and the leather has been peeling off. I am hoping to find something retro looking in one of my Op shopping trips, really hoping! I quite like this one - a lot!

I am always drawn to interesting and different pieces of jewellery. Something that will make a simple outfit pop just a little bit. When I saw this bracelet I instantly popped it into my favourites. I LOVE it.

I am also on the lookout for a new handbag. I have been using one that I love for the last year, a yellow one that Jasper gave me for Christmas the year before last. Sadly it has been so well used that it is falling apart. This is it below...

This week I saw that my lovely friend Mel Goodsell found a gorgeous yellow handbag at the Op shop. She has totally inspired me to keep looking and that the perfect handbag for me will pop up soon too. Here is Mels. Isn't it gorgeous and a great find too!
