Today has been a busy day. We have been getting everything ready for the kids return to school tomorrow, buying new school shoes and lunch boxes, covering Jasper's books with contact and generally making sure we have everything ready. We have also registered both kids at dancing. Emily is returning to tap after a few years break and Jasper is beyond excited to be returning to contemporary and adding ballet as well. It's going to be a BIG year.
My Inspiration Sunday post today is all about inspiration and organisation. I have grand plans of adding more order to our lives this year and have a feeling there are others keen on simplifying and adding more order to their lives too. Here is what is inspiring me today...
I LOVE this typogrophy word art print. I think these family rules are something I would love hanging in my home as they are simple things I try and teach my family to live by. I think having this hanging in our home would be wonderful.

There are days when we all need reminding of things to be thankful for and when I saw this 'Count your Blessings' blackboard, I knew it was something that I would love to add to our home as well. I hope to find a vintage frame and make one of these to pop in our home. I would love to encourage my kids (and us grown ups) to write down things we are grateful for.

I really love this organisation wall, where each child has their own board on the wall a place to hang notes, reminders etc. I hope to incorporate something like this soon so that each of our family members knows where they have to be and when.

And finally, a little inspiration for me. My lovely friend Sheree Forcier popped this photo onto Instagram this week, of how she stores her beautiful fabrics. I adore her fabrics and think it is a wonderful idea to store them in underbed storage boxes too. I need Sheree to come visit me for a while and help me get my fabrics whipped into order.

Well I'm off now to iron uniforms and make sure everyone is organised and ready for their first day back at school tomorrow. I am glad the kids are happy to be returning to school but I am sure things will feel VERY quiet around here tomorrow as well. Hopefully I can fill my day with LOTS of stitching. Have a great week. x Janelle
