Because I have one to share...
Recently I have been hiding away doing some special secret squirrel stitching and I have been given the go ahead to share a little about it with you. I have been using a beautiful, soft and pretty range of fabrics called 'French Hatbox' by Tanya Whelan. Here is an image from her site of a sneak peek of some of the fabrics in the range.
I am super excited to reveal that Australian Homespun will be running another Block of the Month programme called Life is a Celebration beginning in Vol 11 No 1 (out January 6, 2010). There is a wonderful line up of designers involved and added with these delicious fabrics, it is sure to be something to add to your to do list for January 2010. This is for a VERY worthwhile charity - which will be revealed later. I for one, am VERY honoured to be involved.
Here are some sneaky peeks of my contributions - I LOVE them and can't WAIT for next year when all can be revealed.
If you would like to be involved in the Homespun BOM and complete the blocks as we go, have a whisper in the ear of your local patchwork store so that they can order the fabrics in on time.
I have MUCH more stitching to share, including some more sneak peeks of another secret project and a new design I am currently working on as well - these lovely squares are part of my new design. Aren't they just delicious!!!

Your sneak peeks look gorgeous Janelle. I cant wait to see the finished products. Your stitches are so perfect too. Wish I could do mine that nice. Bit more practice I think. Love the fabrics too.

I bought a kit for Breast Of Friends, done 2 blocks and havent done any more as I just dont like many of the blocks.... I was SO dissapointed!

Hi Janelle - do you take your close ups (like on this post) with your 50mm lens? I have been thinking (or wishing!) about one for ages....

Love the sneak peaks.....the fabrics you use are always inspired. I agree with the others your blanket stitch is impecable. Mine always looks so rustic (rustic = messy, lol)
