I just HAVE to start his post with a share. On Friday afternoon my little family and I headed out for a shop - we were headed to a new patchwork store called Patchwork Coffee on Main that has recently opened in Boolaroo - well it was a feast for the eyes - full of gorgeous fabrics with a coffee shop inside the store as well. What more could a girl want!
I wandered around the store feasting my eyes on the gorgeous fabrics - how to choose?! Then my eyes fell upon a red and white polka dot fabric and my next quilt journey began - I soon found these DIVINE fabrics from an Australian fabric designer called 'A Day in the Country' by Patchworks - I added an aqua polka dot and I could hardly contain myself I was so excited. I cannot tell you HOW MUCH I adore these fabrics, they are all my current favourite colours - aqua, red, pink and white - fabric heaven. These fabrics will become my next quilt pattern - stay tuned and I will share the journey with you as I go.
