Melbourne Day 2

Hello everyone! Here's what I got up to on my second Day in Melbourne...

It was an early rise for us at 6:00 am! We got ready, had breakfast and packed our lunch and headed out.

Firstly we went to our first performance. It was for small primary kids. They were so cute! Sadly I don't have any photo's from there. It all went really well.

You might also be wondering what songs we sing in our choir? Well, I will tell you my favourite two. The first is You Can't Stop the Beat from the musical hairspray, but my very very VERY favourite is called Disney Dazzle. It goes for twelve minutes and has a whole lot of songs from Disney movies in it! The songs are form Ariel, Alladin and Beauty and the Beast. My favourite two songs from it are Under the Sea and Friend Like Me.

Anyway....

We then packed up all the equipment, sound things and instruments and drove to the next venue! And we set it all up again! Oh well, it was kinda fun!

The next place we went had a LOT more people! Here is a photo when we were setting up...

That concert went really well too! 

After that we got on a long bus trip to Eureka Tower! Now, I was more petrified about this than I was of going on a plane! I have a really big fear of heights! Eureka Tower is an 88 floor building, which goes up really high! It is 975 feet (297 m) tall! Eeeek!

But, it. was. AMAZING! The view was sooo good and it doesn't even feel very high up! Well, I bet your dying to see some photos, right?!...

After that we walked to the bus to go back to the place we're staying. Here is me on the walk to the bus...

Once we got back we just hung out on our beds and then went to bed! It was an extremely AWESOME day!! Tomorrow I'll tell you about Day 3 in Melbourne! Emily xoxo

Melbourne Day 1

Hello everyone! 

Today I am going to tell you all about my first day in Melbourne! It was SO much fun in Melbourne and I had a FABULOUS time! Here we go...

We arrived at my school with everything I needed. I got on a bus and we drove to the airport! I was SO nervous, as it was my first time on a plane and I was so worried I would die! (I am a real worrier if you didn't realise! teehee!) 

We left on the plane to Melbourne! I was so scared and when we took off I was literally grasping (VERY tightly!) onto the arm rests! Now when I think about it, I had nothing to be scared of. It is really very fun, and they have so many safety things! I LOVED it!

Once we got to Melbourne Airport, we got on a bus and went to the school we were staying at. We went into a big hall and set up our beds!

Then after we were all set up, we had dinner! We had burgers. They were really yummy!

Then after that we had a practice, got ready for bed etc. and went to sleep!

Free-lensing Experimenting...

Hello everyone! Have you ever heard about free-lensing? It is a technique used with cameras that have a removable lens, and you take off the lens and hold it infront of the camera, and rotate it around, to make some of the image blurry!

Well, I discovered it a few days ago on elsie's blog! (here). My mum and I gave it a try, and at first, it didn't really work very well...

Even though you can't even see me or anything, I still kinda like them!

Then I did some more experimenting around the house...

The last one of my cat didn't really work... I still hadn't figured out how to change the shutter speed or anything...

But then I tried it on my dog and brother...

Then after I took them my mum wanted me to take some What I Wore Wednesday photo's for her, and afterwards I took these photos of her and my brother... (they are my favourites)
