The Beach

Hello everyone! When I went to Zali's house last month, we went to the beach a lot and it was SO much fun! They live so close to the beach so we walked there almost every day and it was so so wonderful. Here are a few photos that we both took whilst I was there...

My Braces!

Friday was the BIG day! It was the day I finally got my braces! My family and I have waited a very long time for me to finally have braces. I've had oral surgery (6 extractions and an extra tooth removed from my jaw/sinus), an expander plate, a space maintainer plate and 3 extractions in the chair ready for braces! I've known for a really long time I would need braces and I wanted them so much so I could have straight teeth, and now I finally have them!

It didn't hurt getting them on, you could just feel a bit of pushing. The worst part which hurts a bit is over very quickly so it isn't very bad. Afterwards (in about 6 hours) it starts aching a bit, and the next day it's a bit worse, but the aching should only last less than 5 days.

It feels really weird, and it feels really funny eating too, but I will be used to it really soon.

I decided to go with 2 colours, I got alternating aqua and teal. I really like it! Also the big white things at the top are because by teeth haven't come down yet, and the same with the wire things at the bottom.

In 8 weeks I go back to get them tightened and I can't wait to see how much they have changed just in 8 weeks!

Oh, I love Pugsley TOO much! He is so cute! He is getting so very big and catching up to Kewell, the family dog very quickly! I love his crooked little grin! He he he
