The Utterly Awesome Blythe Club - Cardboard Craft Competition!

Hello everyone!!

Guess what??! It's that time again! The Utterly Awesome Blythe Club is having another competition, YAY!

You may be wondering what the competition is? Well, it is called the Cardboard Craft Competition! Here is what you need to do...

1. Find yourself any type of box (soap box, cardboard box, matchbox and so on)

2. Make anything you like out of it - But it has to be for dolls or doll houses!

3. Take a photo of your cardboard invention after you have finished making it, and send it to us at theblytheclub@gmail.com

4. Come back on the 8th of October (2011) to see if you are one of the THREE lucky winners! 

You are probably wondering what the prizes will be! Well, is a prize for the most original, most creative and most colourful!

1. You must be an Utterly Awesome Blythe Club Member if you are going to enter ANY of our competitions! HERE is the blogpost to sign up if you haven't already! 

2. Entries close on the 8th of October 2011.

3. You have to do MOST of the craft for the cardboard box creation yourself! (You might need a help with sharp objects) Safety come's first!

4. You can only enter once - One entry per person.

The Stitched Bluebird Spring Update Lookbook!

Hello everyone!

As you may or may not know, my mum has an etsy store for blythe dolls called The Stitched Bluebird! Well, she is having an update! So I thought it would be an awesome idea to make a lookbook for it! A lookbook is a little movie with the model (i.e - blythe dolls) modelling the clothes in an awesome way!

So, here is my lookbook for her store update! It took me 2 days to make...

My 13th Birthday!

Hello everyone!

Yesterday was my 13th birthday! It was SO awesome and now I will tell you all about it!! It was also my blythe doll Gypsy's birthday!

Every year my mum decorate's our bedrooms for our birthday, so when we wake up it is all decorated and special! This year I had paper lanterns and balloons hanging from the ceiling, and paper number 13's stuck around my room!!...

Once I woke I got to open my presents, YAY!!

This is all my presents!!

The first present I opened was this awesome blythe doll outfit! It is a dress and t-shirt!!

 
The next present I opened was this t-shirt!

 

 
The next present I opened was a Licca body! You may be wondering what that is. Well, a licca body is a type of doll body that you can put on blythe dolls and other dolls. They have bendable arms that can hold things! I really wanted one so that my blythe dolls could pick things up! You have to open the blythe doll to put the body in and we actually opened up a real blythe doll! We opened up my Simply Mango Daisy and I will share pics later on in this blog post!

Next I got this beanie and blythe postcard! The beanie is made by Angelique, who is Django and Juliette's mum!

Then I got this owl lunchbox! I am going to use it for blythe doll parts and customising tools!

Next I got an AWESOME skirt, t-shirt and headband! They are from the etsy shop called Sweet Birdie Blue! They are SO awesome and it is my most favourite skirt I have ever had!

Next I got a MOBILE PHONE! It is a white Samsung Galaxy mini! I really love it and I can go on the internet and use photo apps on it!

And then my cat decided he would sleep on all of the wrapping paper! Teehee!

Then we changed Daisy's body! It took about 15 minutes just to get her head open! It is SO much harder than it looks! We opened her head, and it went into 3 parts, and then we twisted her body out and put her new one in! Here is the new Daisy...

Then we went OP Shopping!!...

This is me out the front of the OP Shop in my birthday outfit!

At the OP Shop we found a small vintage dolls house for my Littlest Pet Shop Blythe dolls! The photo's above are of it before we cleaned it and decorated it! It also came with 2 big bags of furniture, and all up it only cost TEN DOLLARS! This is what it looks like now I have done it up!...

After lot's of playing and taking photo's, and after we had tea it was time for the cake! I chose what type of cake we got to have and I chose carrot cake. I know that sounds a bit weird but I LOVE it!!

It was so YUMMY!! teehee!! And guess what?! I blew out all 13 candles with one blow! Thats a new record for me, YAY!

And here is all my blythe dolls wearing a blythe outfit I got for my birthday! {From left to right - Poppy wears skirt from Mackenzie, Gypsy wears dress, shirt and beanie from my parents, and a bracelet from Madeline, Daisy wears skirt and bandanna from Marlie, and a bracelet from Madeline, Isabella wears a knitted dress from Madeline, and Grace wears a dress and beanie from Mandy, Steph and Kiarra! 

Firstly I would like to say a HUGE thank-you to my mum, dad and brother Jasper for making my birthday so AWESOME! And secondly I would like to thank everyone who left me birthday wishes! They made me so happy! And lastly I would like to thank everyone who sent me something for my birthday! It really means a lot!
