Hello everyone! Today I am going to teach you how to make the above blythe doll flower crown! You can also adapt this to make one for yourself too!
I am sure anyone of all ages can make this! It is very fun to make too!
Let's begin! Hooray!
FIRST STEP - Gather your materials...
You will need -
• Fake flowers
• Scissors
• Glue
• Two ribbons (one for the actual headband, and another sheer/seethrough one for decoration).
• Needle + Thread. You do not need to have such a lonnggg needle like mine, but it was the only one I could find
SECOND STEP - Get your non see through piece of ribbon and measure around your dolls head. Cut it off at the right measurement, with an extra two inches or so.
THIRD STEP - Sew it together with a needle and a matching colour thread, so that it is in a circle shape now and your doll can wear it.
FOURTH STEP - Get your see through/sheer ribbon, needle and a matching coloured thread. Sew it on the headband all the way around, messily, buching it up here and there. Knot off securely.
FIFTH STEP - One by one, put some glue onto the back of the fake flowers and stick them on. Note - do not glue them on while the doll is wearing it, you do not want to get glue through her hair. You MUST have is sitting in your desk/bench to glue it. You can glue them on however you like!
SIXTH STEP - Let your headband dry for a few hours, or overnight.
Your doll can wear it now! Hooray!
If you've made one I'd love to see! You can send me a photo on my contact page at the top of my blog. I'd looove to see! Have fun and enjoy the tutorial! xoxo, Emily
